How to register an account at DeepL

Create a new free account on the DeepL page: https://www.deepl.com/pro-checkout/account?productId=1200&yearly=false&trial=falseopen in new window.
After filling in the basic details, DeepL will prompt you to enter your credit card.
Go to the Account tab and at the bottom is the “Authentication Key for DeepL API” field. Copy this code to the clipboard

Note: Doc3 is not affiliated with DeepL or other public engines. Any payments you make are done independently of Doc3 and outside our control. Doc3 simply connects to the account(s) you have set up.

How to connect the DeepL API Key to Doc3

Open the page on Doc3 DOC3 (“Account Settings” -> “Commercial MT Settings”)
Paste the API Key that you have received in the previous steps into the field DeepL Free

Note: DeepL API offers two plans - DeepL API Free and DeepL API Pro. The free version can translate 500,000 characters per month for free. You can see the usage of your plan in your DeepL account under Account -> Usage. Here you can see the characters used in the current month.
