API Connectors

Doc3 contains several API connectors that allow you to connect the both the Free and the Pro version of the Doc3 CAT tool with the most popular online Machine Translation (MT) systems. When setting up a new project in Doc3 you can choose which MT service to use for pre-translation.

Doc3 supports API connectors to these most popular online MT Services:

  1. DeepL
    1. Free account
    2. PRO (paid) account
  2. Google
  3. Microsoft Bing

To take advantage of this solution, you need to do the following two things:

1. Create an account with the MT service of your choice.

The management of this account is entirely under your control, including administration and payment matters, and Doc3 cannot be held responsible for any problems with your account. See below for instructions on how to register and how to obtain the necessary API key.

2. Register the API key, provided by your MT service provider, in your Doc3 settings.

Detailed instructions on how to register your API key to the Doc3 can be found below.

Note: If you don’t use any MT service yet, we recommend you start with DeepL Free to see how this can help you become a lot more efficient when translating.
